Job Objective | Guidance - Provide input of best practices for the configuration & design of the infrastructure in context to the goals of the project. • Deliverables - MD.60 (Design DB Extensions), MD.90 (Environment Prep), MD.100 (Create DB Extensions), MD.120 (Install Routines), and TA.130 (Deployment Plan). • Partnership - Work closely with internal technology teams within our EIS organization. • Change Management - Manage the deployments for Coding, Cloning, Refreshing, Patching, Backups, Purges, etc. • Enterprise Testing - Support the coordination of Shakedown Testing (smoke), Component/Unit Testing (dev), Functional Integration Testing (FIT), System Integration Testing (SIT), Disaster Recovery (DR), and pre-production Client Acceptance Testing (QA). • Support - Full life-cycle Development, Quality Assurance, Client Acceptance, Production and Continuous Development. | ||||||||
Job Description | Responsible for installing, designing, configuring, documenting, delivering, and supporting the databases and application servers of several Oracle ERP & EPM Applications. The Oracle Apps DBA will work closely with: Architects, Development and Integration Leads, Core DBAs, OEM Administrators, Hardware Engineers, External Integrators (consultants), and a mix of On-Off Shore Developers. The Apps DBA is responsible for ensuring that the middleware & database technologies are delivered successfully in scope and on time. | ||||||||
